This device took into account the wishes of home users and professionals of sharpening devices. Firstly, its size. This is a compact and stable device weighing 3,230 grams. The base is made of steel and rests on rubber feet. The device is coated in high-grade powder paint with a magnetic node lock. The rotary mechanism runs in a maintenance free, double row ball bearings with an integrated axis. The operation of the node is silky smooth. We also managed to implement a 10-piece knife frame in this device. By unscrewing the two screws on the frame, the operator can inspect the edge condition while sharpening without removing it from the clips.

An electronic goniometer is included!

The blade clamps of the original design are made of alloy 7075 , heat-treated.
The horizontal guide rod with a diameter of 8 mm is made of alloy stainless steel, has a hardness of 58-60 HRC, a surface roughness of 0.4 Ra.
