Dialux Polishing Compound
Dialux was originally developed for surface treatment in the dental and jewelry industry and has proven to be a very good alternative for the deduction and polishing of cutting edges. Dialux pastes have a complex composition that includes different grain sizes. The grain sizes are therefore not strictly categorized according to FEPA or JIS and just represent a guideline. It is important to use the paste grains sensibly, depending on the condition of the blade and cutting edge. Individual factors play a role here, and the way of working also determines the result. If you use the orange, gray and blue grains, you will achieve an excellent surface. For many applications, however, the white paste is sufficient. Please use only one leather blank for each color, as paste residues cannot be completely removed. The use of polishing belts (e.g. cork) for belt grinding machines or buffing and polishing discs is also possible.
- Polishing Compound 9 x 3 x 2,5 cm
- 110 - 150 grams
- ORANGE rough polish for high-alloy steels and stainless steel, removes scratches and streaks
- GREY prepolish approx. 32 um
- BLUE high gloss polish for high-alloy steels and stainless steel approx. 20 µm
- WHITE universal polish approx. 20 um
